Why We Built iResolve
The traditional dispute resolution system forces people into adversarial battle lines, compounding hourly fees, and multi-year delays. We engineered a confidential sanctuary to solve deadlock at the root.
The Structural Failure of Adversarial Litigation
When interpersonal, commercial, or governance conflict erupts—whether between condominium co-owners, startup co-founders, or healthcare care teams—the default instinct is legal escalation. But litigation and formal tribunals do not resolve conflict; they proceduralize it.
The moment lawyers draft formal notices, communication collapses. Disputants retreat into rigid positional posturing, inflating their claims to establish negotiating leverage. The process triggers acute amygdala hijack, consuming dozens of executive hours and burning between $10,000 and $65,000 in retainers for outcomes that leave relationships permanently fractured.
The Bilateral Caucus Architecture
iResolve replaces public adversarial combat with a quiet, asynchronous conciliation sanctuary. Rather than putting opposing parties in the same room to shout or trade accusations, each party enters an encrypted, private caucus room via magic link.
The engine operates on three core invariants:
- Zero Raw Cross-Contamination: What you say in your private room stays strictly in your room. The opposing party never sees your unfiltered intake or emotional venting.
- Form FR-003 Socratic Epistemic Mirror: Rather than bluntly contradicting heated claims, the system asks one calm question at a time to separate emotional friction from underlying operational, financial, or governance priorities.
- Pareto Synthesis in 48–72 Hours: As both parties clarify their true constraints, the engine identifies non-zero-sum trade-offs and drafts an objective, binding mutual accord paired with an official 1-click Board Memo PDF.
Leadership & Peer-Reviewed Methodology
iResolve was founded by Andrew Tischler, JD, BCL. Trained in both common law and civil law at McGill University Faculty of Law, with strategy consulting experience at McKinsey & Company, Andrew engineered iResolve to bridge the gap between rigorous legal dispute systems design and mathematical Pareto optimization.
The core methodology was evaluated in international dispute scholarship and published in the Thomson Reuters Australasian Dispute Resolution Journal (ADRJ, 2025, Vol. 34, Pt. 1), co-authored alongside Dr. Samantha Hardy (Director, The Conflict Management Academy).
Hosted locally in Canada and strictly compliant with Quebec Law 25, PIPEDA, and enterprise zero-data-retention standards, iResolve protects sensitive dispute caucuses with sovereign data integrity.
